Birthday Social

Wednesday beginning at noon, entertainer Glen Faul

Celebrating everyone who was born in August during our birthday social, the birthday celebrants receive a special meal, cake and icecream.  We also plan special entertainment during the afternoon.  This month Glen Faul will sing for us.

Lunch

Hot lunch served weekdays at noon

Hot lunch is served weekdays at noon with coffee service at 11:45. If financially able, the fee is $2 for adults over 60 and $4.89 for others. Linton's Food Service Company provides the food for the hot meal, which is prepared at the Center.  The Phoenixvilee Senior Center provides an alternate meal for $3. The alternate meals are often a salad or sandwich for those who cannot eat the hot lunch due to health issues, religious practices, or food preference. Please make a reservation one week prior to the day you plan to attend.  You may also bring your lunch to socialize during mealtimes.

Community Breakfast open to all, served on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 8-9.  Meal includes a hot entree, coffee, tea, juice, hot and cold cereals, and selection of toasts. Suggested good will offering gratefully accepted.

Sponsored by Woodbridge Senior Living in Kimberton, Coffee, Tea and snacks are provided at 9:30 as a snack for those coming in on Rover, finishing thier exercise class or waiting for the next class to begin.  It is a time to chat with friends, discuss the happenings in the center and the world, and to rehydrate before moving on with your day.

Duplicate Bridge

Thursdays from 10-2

Duplicate bridge is the most widely used variation of contract bridge in club and tournament play. It is called duplicate because the same bridge deal is played at each table and scoring is based on relative performance.
