As of Wednesday, March 9, 2022, following the CDC and PA Department of Health masking guidelines, the Phoenixville Area Senior Center is recommending, not requiring masks to enter the Center.  Unvaccinated and immunocompromised individuals should continue to wear masks for their own safety.  This policy change takes effect immediately with the acknowledgement that the virus could re-emerge with a different variant which may require re-establishing the mask mandate. We continue to encourage all participants to get vaccinated and boosted.

If you are exposed to Covid-19 or show any symptoms including fever, cough, upset stomach, loss of taste or smell, or sore throat, please do not enter the Senior Center until you are free of symptoms and seek medical attention.

  • If you are fully vaccinated, masks are not required, recommended, but not required.
  • If you have a condition or are taking medications that weaken your immune system, you may not be fully protected even if you are fully vaccinated. You should continue to take all precautions recommended for unvaccinated people, including wearing a well-fitted mask.
  • If you are not fully vaccinated, please mask in indoor public places. Let us all keep our family and friends safe and healthy!!
