Another week of watching the Covid numbers climb across the country. Here in Chester County we did a good job of getting people vaccinated, so we are still below the 5% positivity rate threshold for closing. We continue to watch daily as we prepare to reopen, but are not adding any new activities.
It’s the last week for summer student volunteers. They are such a big help, packing produce and distributing the food, painting, and helping with any task. We wish them well as they begin their school year. Thank you Scout, Nora, David, Joseph, Grace, Stephanie, Kevin, Kendell, Kia and all our students.
Activities continue as planned this week. See calendar below. Our in-person exercise class is off again this week, but you can watch our taped classes on Channel 22 or 29 Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 am. If you are planning to come to pinochle or Bridge, please pre-register with Christine at 610-935-1515 x 29 or email Christine@phoenixvilleseniorcenter.org. You will have to complete the Participant’s form, Covid Screening, and Waiver of Liability before entering the Center. Finally, wear a mask to ensure everyone’s safety.
