Healthy Steps for Older Adults 50+ — A Falls Prevention Program
Join Karen Dixon (You may remember Karen from Bingocize) as she returns to the Senior Center to teach this new class!
2 day/2hour class Monday September 25th and Wednesday 27th at 1:15pm
+ Healthy Steps for Older Adults is a comprehensive evidence-based fall-prevention program for adults ages 50 and up.
+ The program aims to keep you on your feet! It includes several components that work together to reduce falls and promote health.
+ The Healthy Steps for Older Adults program includes education, assessment and referral. The program combines education about fall risk and fall prevention exercises with an individual falls risk assessment.
Program supported by funds received through Pennsylvania Department of Aging Health and Wellness Program.
