As the saying goes, ‘many hands make light work.’
There are several areas of our operation that require the assistance of volunteers. The breakdown below gives an overview of how individuals, businesses, corporations and organized groups may help:
- Daily Operations: food prep and food service with our Chef Brian, morning concierges assist with computer sign in, one or two help lunch clean up
- Fundraising Events: Spaghetti Dinner, Designer Bag BINGO, Scrapbooking Event, Pancake Breakfast, Candlelight House Tour and Holiday Marketplace, Irish Wake
- Center Events: Mothers and Fathers Days, Oktoberfest, holidays and monthly birthday socials, assemble monthly newsletters
- Committees: currently these include Governance, Fund Development, Facilities, and Finance. This is a great way to determine your desire to participate as a board member.
- Board Members: steer the direction of the Center
- Corporations/Businesses/Organizations: lend a hand with big tasks like decorating for the holidays, pruning and mulching the landscape, updating facilities of the building, etc.
